Outreach

Did you know that the Fellowship Hall is used by all types of organizations?

The Yorktown Wildcats and Kitty Kats use the hall on Friday afternoons during football and basketball season with lunch provided by the parents prior to competing that evening. This gives them an opportunity to gather for fellowship, socialize and bond.

The Girl Scouts use the hall throughout the year. Research shows that girls lean best in an all-girl, girl-led, and girl-friendly environment. They practice different skills, explore their potential, take on leadership positions — and even feel allowed to fail, dust themselves off, get up, and try again.

During basketball season, the hall is used by the Elementary school age basketball league for team practices.

This does not include the numberous events that are scheduled throughout the year.

If you are interested in reserving the fellowhip hall for your luncheon, birthday party, or other function, please contact Diane Dugie at 361-564-8209.
